Use & Care
Use
- Place unit upright on a firm, level surface indoors.
- Install the exhaust hose and window kit according to the supplied instructions.
- Keep air intake and outlet openings unobstructed.
- Select cooling, dehumidifying or fan mode using the controls or remote.
- Close doors and windows during cooling, apart from the installed window vent.
- Reduce direct sunlight with curtains or blinds for more efficient cooling.
- Use the programmable timer to schedule operation.
Care
- Turn off and unplug unit before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
- Clean the dust filter after every week of use.
- Vacuum dust from the filter. If heavily soiled, rinse in warm water below 104°F (40°C).
- Allow filter to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Avoid alcohol, solvents and spray cleaners. Never wash the appliance directly with water.
- Drain the internal water circuit and clean the filter before seasonal storage.
