Use & Care
Use
- For best frothing results, use fresh milk straight from the refrigerator. De’Longhi recommends whole milk; foam texture varies depending on the dairy milk or plant-based beverage used.
Care
- Switch off and unplug the machine. Allow it to cool before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners, alcohol and metal scraping tools.
- After frothing, wipe milk residue from the steam wand and return it to the “OFF” position to activate automatic rinsing.
- Rinse coffee filters after each use. Empty and clean the drip tray regularly.
- The drip tray, milk jug and small cup tray are dishwasher safe.
- Descale when the indicator illuminates, using De’Longhi descaler and following the instruction manual.
