Use & Care

Use

  • Follow the installation instructions supplied with the unit.
  • Place indoors on a level surface.
  • Keep air inlets and outlets clear.
  • Avoid very damp rooms.
  • Reduce direct sunlight with curtains or blinds.
  • Do not cover the appliance or place objects on top.
  • Keep upright during transport. If placed on its side, wait at least 6 hours before switching on; the manual recommends 24 hours. ]

Care

  • Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth, then dry.
  • Do not wash the appliance with water or use alcohol, petrol or solvents.
  • Clean the filter regularly; weekly cleaning is recommended during continuous use.
  • Vacuum dust from the filter. If heavily soiled, rinse with water no hotter than 104°F (40°C).
  • Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Before seasonal storage, drain remaining water according to the manual, replace the drain caps, and clean and dry the filter.
