Use & Care
Use
- Use espresso-ground coffee or compatible E.S.E. pods.
- For frothing, De’Longhi recommends refrigerated semi-skimmed milk. Leave enough room in the jug for milk to expand.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water without exceeding the MAX mark.
Care
- Switch off, unplug and allow the machine to cool before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the machine in water.
- Clean the frother after every use. Purge briefly, then switch off and allow it to cool before removing and rinsing its detachable parts.
- Rinse coffee filters regularly and empty the drip tray before it overflows.
- Hand-wash components and accessories; they are not dishwasher safe.
- Descale when the orange indicator illuminates, following the manual and using De’Longhi descaler.
