Use & Care

Use

  • Install the exhaust hose and window outlet according to the supplied instructions.
  • Keep the exhaust hose connected when using cooling or dehumidifying mode.
  • Fan-only operation does not require the exhaust hose.
  • Use the control panel or remote to select the operating mode and fan speed.
  • Point the remote toward the unit, within approximately 16 ft., with no obstructions.
  • Switch off using the power button and wait a few minutes before unplugging.

Care

  • Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth, then dry.
  • Do not wash the appliance with water or use petrol, alcohol or solvents.
  • Clean the dust filter after each week of use.
  • Vacuum dust from the filter; if heavily soiled, rinse with warm water below 104°F (40°C).
  • Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Before seasonal storage, drain the internal circuit following the manual, securely replace both drain caps, and clean and dry the filter.
